It is a great thing to see that the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah id gearing up for large number of visitors. The hope lies in the International Airport’s seasonal charter flight programme kick off. It will introduce greater and larger arrival facilities to welcome new visitors.
The airport is expecting 100,000 tourists from Europe, CIS and Russia to pass through during the upcoming winter months. The RAK International Airport has already commenced the first of ten weekly charters earlier this month, starting its winter schedule earlier than its usual end of October season launch. The news follows RAK International Airport’s most successful year to date, with 2016's key moments including Qatar Airways’, Air India Express’ and Egypt Air Cargo’s operational start-ups.
Recently RAK Airport expanded the size of its arrival terminal facilities by 50 per cent in preparation for the winter flights.
